Mr. Green
It was an extremely hot July. Families all across the United States were struggling to keep their AC systems running. For some reason everywhere across the country it was a solid 90 degrees. Mr. Green, the worlds most famous rapper, artist and fashion designer decided to take his kids out of the house and onto the hills of his property. You see, he owned thousands of acres in the open country of North Dakota. The grey mountain...his. The crooked river...his. The miles of open hills and free roaming horses? His. His four children were supposed to be doing homework. Not today. Today they would escape. He packed them in the backseat, rolled down the windows, and slammed his foot on the gas! They were off! They didn’t take any streets or roads.
He was going off road this time. Faster and Faster. The Off Road Multi-terrain Jungle Beatle was able to get up to speeds of 200mph in six seconds flat. The vehicle was all black. It’s windows tinted and each of its six tires where fat thick and rigged. It was a gift from his good friend, Max Max. The tech wizard behind Jungle Tech. Jungle Tech was the most successful car manufacturer in North America. The Jungle Beatle hadn’t even been released yet. It was a new model meant for Mars, but Mr. Green received it for his birthday!
They revved up a hill soaring 10 feet in the air! The kids screamed with joy, hands in the air! Their bright brown faces singing and laughing. Mr. Green laughed like a hyena and howled like a wolf. The cubs followed his cry. They ripped donuts in the yellow mud. He drifted across watery creek beds. That's when he saw the time. Oh no! Mrs. Green would be home in 10 minutes! He screeched the Jungle Beatle to a halt.
"Okay guys, what do we tell mom when she asks what we did today?", he said. They looked at each other and smiled.
"Nothing!" they hollered. "Good!", he replied. He put the pedal to the metal and they raced across the countryside trying to beat Mother Green home.
